Netball team

Our netball team is the best in Alice Springs! Kylie Bethel, our coach, brought the team to victory when they won the 2010 Grand Final against other schools in town.

Interschool Sports Day

Every year our school competes with other schools in the town in the Inter-School Sports Day.

Interschool Football

On Friday afternoons, students from Yipirinya meets with other schools for inter-school football.

School Sports Day

Every year we have a sports day at Yipirinya, on the school oval. Students practice what they've learned about sport for the upcoming Inter-School Sports Day.

Bush School Swimming & Swimming lessons at Yipirinya

Although our students have previously attended swimming lessons elsewhere, since the construction of the new pool, many youngsters have overcome their fear of water and learned confidence in the swimming pool. See the Swimming Pool page for more info.
