HIPPY Alice Springs Home Tutors visit parents/caregivers in their home every second week to show parents how to do HIPPY activities. The parent and child then spend 10-15 minutes each day, 5 days a week, doing activities together.
The Home Tutor supports the parent during the home visit or group meetings., The home tutor does not work with the child.
Home Tutors are parents in the HIPPY program who are doing the activities at home with their own child at the same time as being paid to help other families.
If you are interested in the paid position of home tutor you will need to speak to the coordinator of your local HIPPY program.
If you simply want to join the program for your own children, please contact us: yipirinya@yipirinya.com.au
